I'm so excited to announce that as of yesterday, after one week of treatment, Zeus is in remission! YaY!!! Now, we just have to keep him that way! In my previous post, I detailed some of the things we've been doing on our end, in addition to the chemotherapy. I think we might add K9 Immunity products. Has anyone used these?
Even though he is in remission, the protocol is to keep him on the 26 week chemotherapy program. We take it week by week, and I'm not sure if I'll stay with it or not... I'm honestly afraid to deviate from the program since lymphoma responds so well to it. However, he needs his immune system in tip top shape, so we're doing lots of healthy stuff for him (including lots of fun walks and bye bye car rides), and that is also where the K9 Immunity might come in. I'm also researching other products and getting ready to read this book, Help Your Dog Fight Cancer.
