You and Gena are adorable! Hope you had an easy and safe trip home. Loved hearing about your night with miss Liz on her blog too. I have been drinking alkaline water lately and really don't know what I think... I keep hoping I'll feel a difference but I don't know. The only thing I noticed is it leaves me with less of a "sloshy" feeling in my belly. Ya know, like when you've had too much water your belly is full?
Anyway... just received my 3rd recipe book of yours (the salads) I am excited to get un-cooking!! Everything sounds great :-)

Actually, no I would not send you to Pure as my fave place. I would recommend a must visit to Cafe Blossom (uptown: on columbus). If you want all raw, you can start with a fresh green juice from their bar. Then, have a great appetizer of autumn sweet potato rolls. Then you can have one of their big delish salads. For dessert, have a yummy fruit smoothie. That's if you're looking for raw. (They also have a raw pasta dish I did not try.) Everything else is cooked vegan and major yum! Everything is organic, too. And, Blossom's service is amazing. I love that place.

Pure's side place, One Lucky Duck aka Pure Juice and Takeaway, has fabulous desserts, that's for sure. Get the mallomar if you go!!!

Obviously, if you're looking for gourmet, all raw, you can go to Pure. I had some pretty good meals there, but again, I think they shine with their desserts.

July 4th... I love taking a big fresh colorful cole slaw made with a great raw vegan creamy dressing OR a sweet fruit raw cobbler. :)

Hi Kristen! I have two questions:

1) I will be in NYC in a little over 2 weeks but for less than three days! So, if you had to pick only one place that a person MUST visit, what would it be? (probably Pure?)

Oooh Can't wait to hear about the book party!! I hope to get a copy of Sarma's new book (hopefully I will win it, since it's kinda pricey). I just love that taco salad, looks so delish, sorry it wasn't that great. I have never been to either places, I am going to have to check them out! Thanks for the review!
