Today's Raw Vegan Food

Today is turning out to be one of my 100% Raw days. Here is what I've had so far:

1 quart plant blood
(purple cabbage, green apples, celery)
1 quart green smoothie (spinach, bananas, hemp protein powder
, camu powder, Fruits of the Earth, Vitamineral Green)
1 quart plant blood (cucumbers, zucchini, kale)

1 gigantic salad of spinach, broccoli sprouts, carrot, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, dried cranberries, and a delicious soy-free miso dressing I whipped up in less than 60 seconds.


Later tonight I'm sure I'll have another quart of plant blood and maybe munch on some carrots in keeping with the all-Raw theme.

Yum!! WHat I've eaten today that's raw:

banana, mango, plum, Larabar, almond-butter, spinach, carrots.

I love raw food days =) I try to make mine more frequent now.

Today I had:
banana, fruit salad, kiwi, big salad with carrots, lettuce, baby spinach, and cukes.

I had an all-raw day too! More of these are sneaking in. :D

16oz Green Lemonade (kale, celery, apples, lemon, ginger)

2 bananas, 1/2 cantaloupe, peach

salad (mixed greens, avocado, red onion, cucumber, yellow pear tomatoes, red bell pepper, crunchy sprouts)

32oz plant blood (kale, cuke, celery, carrot, beet)

Cucumber Rolls & Raw Pad Thai for dinner. Yum!

It's early, so I've had a mango and some pears. I love to eat just fruit in the morning.

This is an all raw day for me too:

6 oz barley grass juice (yummy)
huge salad with my incredible hemp seed dressing
16 oz spring water with lemon
2 cacao truffles
16 oz cacao almond milk
walnut-meat soft tacos

Wow, I wish I could eat like you! Today I had a cup of green smoothie, some carrot+celery+apple juice and that's about it as far as raw food goes.

Just curious...how much of your diet is cooked and what types of cooked food, if any, do you eat?

Hi Paulina,

During the course of a week I'll have some days that are 100% Raw and other days that are 70%plus Raw. The cooked vegan food is usually low fat. I'll typically choose something from the following:

lentils, brown rice, steamed veggies, beans, hummus, sprouted bread like Ezekial, high fiber cereal (topped with raw vegan hemp milk), an occasional tofu dish, veggie burger, pasta... that kind of thing.
